Police ambulance and fire brigade attended an accident in Lewis Rd Wantirna South and one of our reporters was on hand at the scene but our news service would not go to air for three weeks so we have a news section to let you see what excitement was in the street.

Fortunately no one was seriously injured when a young driver in a BMW came around a bend too fast in the 50K zone and lost control smashing into the parked Ford sedan on the opposite side of the road and veered through a fence and came to rest hitting a tree inside the property.

The owner of the Ford was watching TV when he heard the crash and rushed outside to see the mayhem. Neighbours gathered in excited amazement.

The police took the driver into custody but we don't know if charges were laid but it certainly indicates that there are drivers out there that don't know what they are doing and have little responsibility for their actions or regard for the rules of the road.
